The purpose of this blog

The purpose of this blog is for cohorts, instructors and students of offer feedback, suggestions and comments regarding any topics.  I  would eventually like to make this an area where students can post and reply anonymously to the goings on in the classroom.  I want them to feel free to tell me what is going on in their lives and what they like and don't like about assignments.  

Special Education v. General Education Licensure

I am at a crossroads at what to path to pursue in education.  I could go through the Special Education certification or a K-6th grade elementary licensure.  Does anyone have any ideas as to advantages over one over the other?  Right now there is a need for special education teachers and so it would be possible to get a job quicker.  Any comments?
